The classic day trip in the wild depths of the Blue Mountains National Park. All action, all day. For fit adventurers with prior canyoning experience looking for their next challenge.
The approach to Claustral Canyon is through lush rainforest and flowing tributaries. Once through the triple abseil of 'The Black Holes of Calcutta', you will enter into a Jurassic fern-lined cathedral, beams of light penetrating from the world above. From here we navigate classic sections including 'The Green Room', 'Thunder Junction' ‘Cascades’, 'Rainbow Ravine', 'Camels Saddle' and 'Claustral Brook'.
This spectacular adventure includes 5 abseils, multiple swims, small jumps, boulder scrambling, and a steep and sustained exit walk.
This is a challenging but highly rewarding adventure. A bucket list trip.
