For dinner savour the incredible local produce cooked on the woodfire oven at Ateş Blackheath (pronounced “a-tesh”. The seasonal menu is Mediterranean-inspired and the setting warm and inviting.

Don’t forget to look up and meditate on the sublime Milky Way before heading in for the night.

Sunday

Sleep in and luxuriate in your cabin. Or drive to Anvil lookout for a sunrise to remember.

Relax your tired muscles with a Magnesium bath at Aqua Ignis, a Japanese inspired Bathhouse/Onsen in Blackheath. The perfect post-hike/canyon reset.

Take a short drive down to Peach Tree Road in the Megalong Valley to enjoy an organic paddock to plate feast at Megalong 101. An unforgettable sensory experience.

Visit one of the spectacular gardens at Mount Wilson. Set on a basalt cap the rich soils of Mount Wilson have led to the cultivation of spectacular cool climate gardens. Our favourite is Bebeah, (est. 1880) in Spring its boulevards of Azaleas are dazzling, and the incredible collection of deciduous trees put on a glowing display in Autumn.. Take the scenic route back to Sydney via Bell’s Line of Road where you can reminisce about your perfect weekend while you drive back to reality.
